WWE released ten Superstars on April 15th. It was said that NXT would likely receive some release news after that. Weeks went by, but there were no cuts. Now they are finally starting to come through.

We previously reported that Drake Wuertz was released from his WWE contract. The controversial NXT referee is no longer with the company. Seth Rollins’ former heel referee Jake Clemons was also release.

The company cut Alexander Wolfe from the roster as well. This came one day after he was kicked out of Imperium on NXT.

According to PW Insider, WWE has also released Skyler Story, formerly known as Ava Storie. She was with EVOLVE and found her way to NXT through the indies.

Ezra Judge was also released from his WWE NXT contract. He is a former arena football player and professional bodybuilder. He was signed in 2019 after a couple of WWE tryouts.

We will continue monitoring this ongoing situation if more release news comes through. We might not have seen the end of the cuts for the black and gold brand yet today.
