WrestleMania Backlash included zombies as lumberjacks, but that Army Of The Dead tie-in didn’t go over well with fans. Those people who played the zombies appeared to have a great time.

We previously reported that mainstream media has now panned WWE’s zombie decision. It’s unclear how much WWE got for the Army Of The Dead plug, but they sacrificed a lot of public approval for their pay-per-view in the process.

Jason Baker was responsible for the zombie crew. Some of those names included Chance Barrow, Joe Ariola, Bronson Rechsteiner, Drew Kasper, Joe Gacy, Jacob Kasper, Asher Hale, Ari Sterline, August Grey, Ikemen Jiro, Daniel Vidot, Jake Atlas, and Xyon Quinn. Scotty 2 Hotty was also done up in zombie makeup as you can see below.

This zombie decision will likely live on in the fan base for a long time to come. It’s not likely that WWE will call too much attention to it considering the uproar it caused.

This match was not only a flop with fans, but it was also responsible for injuring The Miz. Now we will have to wait on a diagnosis to see how bad his injury is.
