The Miz Scheduled For Medical Testing This Week

The Miz was involved in a match at WrestleMania Backlash that was universally panned. The mainstream media even took shot at WWE for bringing zombies into the situation. To top it all off, The Miz was very likely injured.

We previously reported that it is feared that The Miz suffered a torn ACL. At this time it is not known whether we’re talking about a partial tear or something worse. A full tear could take around nine months or longer away from his in-ring career.

PW Insider reports that the A-Lister is slated to undergo medical testing this week to determine the extent of his injury. This is a terrible situation for The Miz, especially since he has yet to sustain a bad injury in his veteran career.

The word backstage at Raw is that he suffered a knee injury that will be getting checked out this week.  The fear is that he suffered a torn ACL when Damian Priest landed on him with an elbowdrop during the match.

This is also not a good situation for anyone involved. The Miz and Damian Priest’s zombie lumberjack match was pre-taped, but they obviously couldn’t re-film much when The Miz was hurt.

We’re crossing our fingers on this one, because The Miz is a beneficial piece to WWE’s puzzle. At least they can say that he was eaten by zombies in the storyline.
