New Jack was a complicated character, both in and outside of the ring. His son Washington Heights is a popular drag queen who won Baltimore PolyAm Princess Hot Mess Express Drag Queen of the Year, but New Jack cut his son out of his life.
Washington Heights previously posted about her father while saying that he has regrets about how things ended. They never got to really patch things up prior to New Jack’s sudden passing.
New Jack’s son posted an update on Twitter after speaking with his father’s wife. She told Washington Heights that New Jack watched his performances and he was proud of his son.
My dad’s wife told me he watched my performances at @ParisIsBumping & #PolyAmCultParty3 and that he was proud of me. He wanted to fix things but didn’t know how. I forgive him for everything and I hope wherever he is he forgives me. I’m finally at peace. #RIPNewJackECW
There is still regret because Washington Heights wanted to fix things with his father, but knowing New Jack was proud of him has to help the situation. New Jack’s passing was very sudden and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
