AEW has busy week of shows this week. They taped Dark and Dark: Elevation yesterday along with a live Dynamite. Today they will do it all over again. They are also bringing in extras for the shows, and the company has a certain set of expectations.

According to documents obtained by Fightful Select, AEW extras are told that their primary job is to stand at ringside unless they were working the show. They were also given several other notes from the company.

The extras were instructed to go over their match, wear a jacket or t-shirt over their gear and cheer at ringside, then rotate out and prepare for their matches when working the Dark/Elevation tapings.

It was stated that AEW will rotate extras out. The document also noted that doing all of those things really goes a long way with AEW management. This could get them booked for more gigs in the future.

All extras are also given a Q&A form to help announcers get acquainted with who they are. They must also test negative in a COVID-19 nasal swab test before leaving for Jacksonville. Any quarantining will need to be done at the extra’s own expense, if necessary.

It was previously reported that “Captain” Shawn Dean is in charge of the extras. He recently signed on with AEW in March and has that backstage role on top of being an in-ring performer.
