WWE fans were delighted to see Jimmy Uso return this week. He was inserted into his brother Jey’s storyline with Roman Reigns. That is becoming quite a complicated family drama. The plan for his return was altered prior to the show.

Ringside News asked around about Jimmy Uso’s return and we were told that most were informed on Thursday that he would be returning. The original plan for that return did change a bit.

A tenured member of the team told us that Jimmy Usos’ return “changed on Friday,” but it’s not know how much or why. It is supposed that this change was made “once Vince McMahon got together with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.”

It’s unclear what the exact process was, but it still played out great on television. Jimmy Uso’s return was also very well received backstage. It was remarked to us that Uso’s return is “the process WWE should use” from now on because of how everything came together on television.

Roman Reigns’ storylines are carefully crafted and they are unlike anything else going in the company. That is why his segments feel different from everything else on WWE television right now.

Ringside News exclusively reported in the past that the writing team does not normally have a hand in that creative process since Heyman, Reigns, McMahon, and Michael Hayes are generally the main minds working on those angles.
