Shayna Baszler was apparently watching AEW Blood & Guts along with so many others. She also saw the final spot where Chris Jericho took a bump off the cage. It didn’t come off looking the best on television, but you still have to give the 50-year-old credit for taking the bump.

Baszler seemed to paint an analogy about Blood & Guts’ special effects. She used Game Of Thrones as a reference point as she said that they didn’t really want people burned on the show, but special effects certainly helped out.

We don’t ACTUALLY want a village to be burned by a dragon in GoT. If they did that, that would be really bad. But if the special effects would have been garbage, it would have sucked also & everyone would have said so.

Shotzi Blackheart also threw little shade at the Jericho spot because it looked like he was landed on a soft bed. The topic of conversation was also popular backstage in WWE as some said that Le Champion was trying to be Shane McMahon.

Chris Jericho actually landed on a bunch of cardboard boxes that were set up. The “steel” on top was simply a mat. The spot might have turned out better if they took different camera angles, but the big angle still got people talking.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
