AEW presented Blood & Guts this week, and the overnight viewership for the United States was over 1 million viewers. That is a great sign for the company as their special promotion paid off against Cinco de Mayo. The company also achieved a new milestone in Canada.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Dynamite reached a new record this week for the Blood & Guts special. They were able to capture over 160,000 viewers with over 97,000 of them in the 25-54 demographic.

The promotion also set its all-time record in Canada, where Cinco de Mayo had no affect on the rating, with 160,900 viewers and 97,400 in 25-54.

That is a good number for Canada because they are not on a major network like TNT there. They are on TSN and were able to pull that number for Blood & Guts. Perhaps they will be able to retain some of that viewership as the weeks go on.
