What WWE Told Crew About Throwback SmackDown Next Week

WWE announced a throwback episode of Friday Night SmackDown for next week. They showed a very interesting commercial during this week’s show, but nothing was announced.

Ringside News has asked around about what WWE has planned for the Throwback SmackDown. We were told that nobody knows backstage either.

It was said to be a “total surprise” when WWE announced a Throwback SmackDown for next week. Not much information is known except that information will be shared at a later date.

We were told that there were no details about the Throwback SmackDown available at Friday’s tapings. When people asked about specifics, they were told “you’ll be updated this week.”

Right now anything seems to be on the table, because we haven’t heard what is going on. They announced a special episode of SmackDown that is supposed to be a throwback in some fashion. It could be an interesting idea, but it is definitely an attempt to snag a larger audience by using nostalgia.
