CM Punk isn’t wrestling anymore, and he really hasn’t hinted that his mind has changed about getting back in the ring. That doesn’t mean he is out of ideas for great pro wrestling stories. Someone like Punk could be very beneficial in the writers room.

During a recent Q&A on Twitter, CM Punk took a shot at the “QAnon Stable” in NXT. Another fan asked the Second City Savior a very interesting question about taking on a role backstage.

When asked: “If a wrestling promotion offered you a backstage role as a creative director, would you take the offer?” CM Punk had a short reply that could speak volumes.

I’d listen.

As of this writing we have heard of no pro wrestling company offering CM Punk any kind of backstage position. That two-word reply from Punk could pique some interest around the pro wrestling company, for sure.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
