Kurt Angle Reveals Who He Sees As The Next Brock Lesnar

WWE has their eye on a few people outside of the company, but Gable Steveson is a man that the company really wants. Kurt Angle also has his eye on the reigning NCAA Division 1 Champion.

Steveson is close with Brock Lesnar and they have trained together. That relationship could go to influence Steveson in many ways.

Kurt Angle brought up Gable Steveson during the Kurt Angle Show where he revealed that he could be the next Brock Lesnar himself.

“I think he’s going to be a big star. Look at his look. If he adapts to pro wrestling and picks it up like Brock Lesnar, he’s going to be exactly like Brock Lesnar. I think he needs to take the chance, whether he goes to MMA or WWE, one or the other, but he’s got to do one of them. I think he is a future star regardless of what he does. He’s got a great look to him, great athlete.”

Gable Steveson qualified to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics after winning the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. He’s busy right now, but those WWE aspirations have not dwindled at all. If anything, all of the work he’s doing now could just up his asking price when it is time to talk with Vince McMahon’s company about making a deal.
