The Rebellion main event had a big fight feel. If anything, Mauro Ranallo was brought in to call the action for Omega vs Swann. This decision made the match that much more special.

Rich Swann and Kenny Omega battled until there was one winner. Swann took everything that Omega had to give, and The Cleaner closed up this historic win with a V Trigger and a One Winged Angel.

At the end of the night, Kenny Omega became the new Impact Wrestling World Champion. AEW referee Aubrey Edwards was at ringside to officiate, but her presence had nothing to do with the decision.

Omega won clean without any outside interference at the finish. Now Omega is Impact Wrestling World Champion and AEW World Champion. We will have to see how things play out on Dynamite next week.
