The Miz Says He Doesn’t Need A Title to Remain Relevant

The Miz remains one of the top WWE Superstars and has had a great career so far, spanning multiple title reigns. The Miz is regarded as one of the best heels in the business and many would agree with that.

The Miz won the WWE Championship last month before dropping it a couple of weeks later to Bobby Lashley. While speaking to Yahoo!Entertainment, The Miz talked about his second WWE Title reign and how he lost it.

The Miz stated that he doesn’t need a title to stay relevant in WWE and is also main event caliber regardless.

“Do I need a title to be relevant and a main event-caliber player in WWE? No, I don’t, but I can take a title and make someone else. I had the title for eight days, but if you really look at how much I did in those eight days, Bobby Lashley was made to be the biggest monster in WWE [during that time]. I’m proud to say that I was a part of that. Bobby Lashley deserves the WWE championship and my job was to make him the biggest, scariest monster out there. We did it in one night. There is no better thing than when you’re a bad guy and you get pinned, to hear the crowd erupt.”

We will have to see what WWE has planned next for The Miz as he will remain a highlight in any storyline presented to him. We wonder if he will ever get another run as the WWE Champion eventually.
