AEW doesn’t hold pay-per-views every month, but their quarterly events can run a bit long. Tony Khan has a solution to that which might help make them a bit easier to sit through.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan revealed that they are considering implementing intermissions during pay-per-views. Other companies do this and he is considering putting up a countdown clock and trying it out for their next pay-per-view event.

“We have great (video packages) and we could do that. Also, a (countdown) clock. If you watch the Road To or the countdown, you might’ve seen them, but that’s even better. They are part of the pay-per-view, putting some (video packages) up. I think it’s a good idea. If you guys like it, that makes me feel a little better. Maybe it’s a good idea. If the fans like it, then maybe it’s a good idea.”

We’ll have to see if AEW inserts an intermission for Double or Nothing on May 29th. That is the next pay-per-view offering from All Elite Wrestling. An intermission might be a good idea for fans at home and those in the building for the live event.
