AEW released Ivelisse from her contract, marking one of the few wrestlers the company has needed to release in the history of the company. She is now speaking out to explain what happened.

Fightful Select reached out to Ivelisse and she explained her side of the story. She claims to have spoken up about mistreatment on the roster and she was then “let in limbo.” That release just came yesterday after nothing was done about Thunder Rosa “slandering” her name.

“I spoke up about mistreatment from a Coach, even to other women too, there were witnesses and I was the one suspended and left in limbo and just now let go, and nothing has been done at all the entire time about (Thunder Rosa) slandering my name the entire time in AEW and doing everything to sabotage my position there, I kept quiet, (Thunder Rosa) also has a history of getting involved with officials in order to get ahead which there was a lawsuit and everything in (Lucha Underground).”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Ivelisse. She has worked for a number of pro wrestling companies already including WWE. There is no word on whether the door is still open for her to make an AEW return, but she is not coming back in the immediate future.
