WWE hasn’t used Aleister Black in a long time, and news of sweeping releases caused his name to come up several times. It seems that the company isn’t done with him yet.

According to PW Insider, Aleister Black has been filming content for his WWE return. His return will apparently involve vignettes that dive into his childhood.

Based on what we have heard about the vignettes, they are loosely based on Black’s childhood. There is no word when they will begin to air, but one would think it would be seen.

The 35-year-old signed with WWE in 2016 and he became NXT Champion before getting moved up to the main roster. This move was not followed by the push many fans hoped for the former Tommy End.

Aleister Black’s last match was a losing effort to Kevin Owens and then he was written off television. We will have to see how the company changes his character upon his return.
