WWE hasn’t been able to tour in over a year due to the pandemic. WrestleMania fans are still fresh in our memory and we’re looking at another fanless ThunderDome environment until possibly SummerSlam. When WWE goes back on the road it’ll be for real next time.

Variety recently interviewed WWE President Nick Khan where they asked about the company’s plans. He confirmed that they are coming, but right now we have to stay tuned.

The important takeaway is that once WWE goes back on the road then they’re staying on the road.

“Any plans? Yes. Any plans we can share? Stay tuned. But just know that once we’re back on the road, we’re on the road full time. We’re not looking to do other one offs. Again, this was WrestleMania. And we felt it needed to be done for the fans. So  look for news coming soon.”

The pandemic is seemingly slowing and the light so much brighter at the end of the tunnel. We’ll have to see how long it takes for WWE to start announcing live dates once again, but that schedule should be expected in the next couple of months as they figure out their next steps.
