WWE Has Big Plans For Imperium

WWE’s Imperium stable consists of four heavy-hitting Europeans from NXT UK. Now they have invaded NXT and it seems that they are here to stay. At least that is the impression that NXT UK Champion WALTER gave.

WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner have been a force to be reckoned with in NXT UK. During a promo on NXT this week, WALTER made the faction’s intentions much more clear.

“At NXT ‘Takeover: Stand and Deliver’ we proved again that Imperium is the most dominant force in all of professional wrestling,” WALTER said. “For the last two years I’ve been the most dominant champion in WWE. Tommaso Ciampa was one of the biggest challenges yet, but nothing changed. I am still the NXT UK Champion.”

“Our crusade to restore the honor of this great sport is just beginning. Imperium will grow, Imperium will expand, because Imperium is here to stay, and soon all of NXT will understand what it means when we say the mat is sacred.”

Imperium is looking to stick around in a big way and spread their influence. That could mean a lot more screen time for them on both NXT brands as well.

WALTER wasn’t on NXT this week. He likely won’t be in NXT full-time because he has rejected the idea of moving to the United States full-time. That won’t stop him from making more frequent trips as travel restrictions begin to loosen.
