According toFightful, the Wyatt vs Orton match was changed. The original plan was for Wyatt to go over in the match.

It is reported that those in the situation were never given an “end game” over the weekend. This new finish was devised by Bruce Prichard and Vince McMahon, but they didn’t really let people know about it.

A “surprise” finish was pitched over the weekend, and we’re told Bruce Prichard and Vince McMahon were instrumental in the change and the decision making associated.

Management seemed happy about how it all played out. The special effects were also pretty cool. The talent were all pretty confused by how it all ended for The Fiend and The Viper on the grandest stage of them all.
