WWE had to hold a much different type of Hall of Fame ceremony this year. They are combining the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes together. We now know about another legend who couldn’t be there.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, who was a member of the class of 2020, will not be appearing at the ceremony. It’s unknown why he didn’t record a video for the show, but it was noted that he’s not appearing.

The WWE Hall of Fame speeches are drastically cut down this year. They needed to cut the ceremony into a much smaller window of time for Peacock. That means we’re not getting any twenty-minute rambling speeches this year.

We’ll have to see if WWE mentions Jushin “Thunder” Liger during the ceremony at all or if they mail him his plaque. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Batista is not going to be at the ceremony either. They are waiting for a year with fans to induct The Animal.
