As seen on the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view, Roman Reigns defended his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan. Reigns successful retained the title due to the actions of Edge, who seemingly turned heel during the match as he hit both Reigns and Bryan with multiple chair shots before exiting the ring.

Many fans started wondering what this could mean for the Universal Title match at WrestleMania 37. It’s now been confirmed that the finish of this match will lead to something bigger at a future date.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, the Universal Title match at WrestleMania will now be a triple threat match between Daniel Bryan, Edge and Roman Reigns.
