WWE is holding the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania tonight and they have a pretty loaded card. Some fans think that Fastlane looks better than WrestleMania at this point, and the event could change the show of shows as well.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan are set to face each other at Fastlane for the Universal Title. The idea of this match leading to a triple threat at WrestleMania has been discussed by fans, but it doesn’t appear to be the company’s direction.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that, as of this week, WWE isn’t planning for a triple threat match at Mania. That seems to indicate the Tribal Chief will win.

“Anything’s possible but I did ask about that and that was a no a week ago. Not even a week ago, early mid-week.”

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Vince McMahon finalized the WrestleMania card recently, but it’s still very much a “need to know” situation. We’ll have to see what surprises WWE has for fans along the way, but the Universal Title match might not be a triumphant one for Daniel Bryan.
