Bobby Lashley Wants To Be WWE Champion For At Least One Year

Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship a couple of weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, as he made short work of The Miz. He brought an end to the 17-year-long journey for the title.

With him being the WWE Champion now, there is certainly a huge target on his back as many Superstars are undoubtedly coming after his title.

While speaking on “A Kinda Fun Sports Podcast,” Bobby Lashley talked about the possible matchups, mentioning Superstars such as Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, AJ Styles.

Lashley then revealed that he wants to stay WWE Champion for at least a year.

“There’s so many different people that you can throw right in the mix at the Heavyweight title, but right now, give me at least one solid year.”

It has been suggested by reports that Lashley is likely to defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37. We will have to see whether Lashley will be able to retain his title at the Show of Shows or not.
