Christian Cage made his debut at AEW Revolution, and the pro wrestling world had differing opinions. He is Hall of Fame worthy, just as they promised. Those in WWE saw this event as well.

According to Fightful Select, higher-ups in WWE confirmed that the lack of references to Christian wasn’t a coincidence. Some were also “let down that Christian made the move.” In the end, it was on WWE for not having him locked into a deal.

One talent we heard back from spoke highly of Christian as a person, and said that if it makes him happy, they’re happy for him.

The majority of the AEW roster did know about this big surprise. We’ll have to see what he does next because Christian told Tony Khan that he wanted to wrestle on a regular basis.
