The pro wrestling world has plenty of people who have made an impression on the business that will live forever. Jim Crockett Jr. was a part of many moments in pro wrestling history, but his health is apparently not doing well right now.

The Crockett Sports Promotions Facebook page posted a rather concerning message on Friday night. It was very short and did not supply a ton of details, but we do know what Jim Crockett Jr. could use our thoughts and best wishes.

“Jim Crockett Jr. is in the hospital and not doing well. We will keep you posted.”

This is concerning because the 76-year-old has a lot of friends in the business who care about him deeply. He ran Jim Crockett Promotions from 1977 to 1989. In 1988, he sold the company to Ted Turner, who later renamed the entity “World Championship Wrestling.” Crockett Jr. remained the President of WCW until 1991.

Our best wishes go out to the entire Crockett family at this time. We’re hoping for the best.
