Big Show is now with AEW and that was a big surprise for Tony Khan’s company to drop on the world. This move will see Paul Wight wrestle in an AEW ring and provide commentary for the company’s new YouTube show AEW Dark: Elevation.

According to PW Insider, Big Show and WWE were not able to come to terms on a new deal. His contract with the company ended last month, days after he appeared and was verbally bullied by Randy Orton, marking his final appearance for WWE.

That January 4th Legends Night appearance won’t be the last time pro wrestling fans see Paul Wight. He will now be a featured part of AEW programming for a long time to come.

Big Show was with WWE since 1999. This is a big get for AEW and it really shook up the pro wrestling world. We will have to stay tuned to see what kind of lasting impact this move will truly leave.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
