WWE had to make a big change to Elimination Chamber during the pay-per-view. A kickoff show match had to determine a new third in the triple threat match. John Morrison won that match during the kickoff show, but he took the pinfall in the end.

Bobby Lashley defended the WWE United States Title in a triple threat match against Riddle and John Morrison. In the end, Riddle took MVP’s crutch and brought it in the ring. He used the crutch to stop Lashley who had a Hurt Lock on Morrison. Then with Lashley down, Riddle made his move and pinned Morrison.

This big win for the King of Bros marks his first singles title in WWE. We’ll have to see how long he carries the title, but he is on the road to WrestleMania as WWE United States Champion.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
