Update: It was recently revealed through Hugo Savinovich that Konnan tested positive for COVID-19.
Original: The pro wrestling world sent out their best to Konnan when news broke that he was hospitalized over serious kidney issue. Hopefully, this new update means that much better days are ahead.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez provided the latest update he heard about Konnan. This information came last night, but there were positive hopes that Konnan is getting better.
“The only thing that I can tell you is that I was given the impression yesterday that obviously, because he was hospitalized that’s bad, but whatever treatment they were doing seemed to be doing well and that he might be out of the hospital fairly soon.”
We will wait until Konnan can speak for himself. Hopefully, he will update fans about his status very soon, and he will be in a much better condition. Our thoughts are with Konnan during this time and we’re rooting for his recovery.
