Sonya Deville escaped a very scary stalker situation, and that legal situation is still ongoing. Now her stalker, Philip A. Thomas, is set to be questioned about whether he is mentally competent to stand trial.

According to PW Insider, Thomas is set to be deposed via Zoom call on February 25th. At that time, they will determine whether he is mentally competent to stand trial.

Mandy Rose was deposed on February 3rd and Deville gave a deposition before the court via Zoom on February 13th. Police officers who responded to Deville’s 911 call are set to give their depositions on February 18th.

Deville was granted an indefinite order of protection injunction against Thomas. He is now barred from having any communication with Sonya Deville in real life or online. There was a time after his incarceration that he as having all of his mail sent to Deville’s home address.
