Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson won their match on Dynamite this week, but The American Nightmare might have been banged up in the process.

During Arn Anderson’s Coach’s Corner video, The Enforcer said that Cody dinged his shoulder. Wrestling Inc reports that AEW provided a statement which confirmed a shoulder injury took place.

“Following the recording of Coach’s Corner, it was confirmed by the AEW medical team that Cody Rhodes suffered a slight tear of his left rotator cuff during his tag team match on Dynamite. His current status is TBD.”

Hopefully, Cody Rhodes will not miss much time. He has a big mixed tag team match against Shaquille O’Neal in a couple of weeks. The American Nightmare also tweeted out a bandaged up emoji to let fans know where he’s at right now.
