Edge Reveals When Christian Found Out He’d Be In The Royal Rumble

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge went against the odds and managed to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match. The match also featured the shocking return of Christian, who made his in-ring return after seven years.

While being interviewed by Sporting News, Edge talked about Christian’s return during the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He also gave more details regarding Christian being cleared for a return to the squared circle.

Edge revealed that Christian was cleared to compete months ago, but he only came to know Christian would be at the Royal Rumble on the Friday before the pay-per-view.

“I was one of the few that was privy to the fact that he got cleared a few months ago. We didn’t know he was going to be in the Rumble until Friday, though. I was in the midst of driving down to his house from North Carolina to stay for the weekend. And then we found out and we’re like “OK, well, we’ll drive over to the Rumble together then.”

Edge had recently revealed that he wants to have another tag team run with Christian. We will have to see whether that will come true or not.
