WWE was about to lose Cesaro, but that apparently isn’t the case now.

It was previously reported that Cesaro’s WWE contract was set to run up after WrestleMania. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that he has either signed a new contract or verbally agreed to a new deal “a few weeks ago.”

There have been reports going around regarding the status of Cesaro. Either he signed or verbally agreed to a new deal a few weeks ago.

It was reported that Shinsuke Nakamura’s spot in the gauntlet match on SmackDown was originally going to Cesaro when Daniel Bryan pitched the idea, but they switched out the Swiss Superman because he hadn’t signed a new deal yet.

Cesaro is a guy who a lot of fans would love to see get a much greater spotlight, even if that means leaving WWE. It appears that he is sticking around at this point, so we’ll just have to see if WWE finally gives him that extra push.
