Welcome to Ringside News’ live results, highlights, winners and reactions for WWE RAW the night after the 2021 Royal Rumble.

Start time for tonight’s WWE RAW is 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page, so you should update frequently to get the latest happenings. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s RAW will feature the Rated-R Superstar, Edge, who won his second Royal Rumble last night. Edge has wrestled just four matches in almost ten years, and two of those matches have been Royal Rumbles. Tonight Edge will be live to possibly name his WrestleMania opponent, either Drew McIntyre or Roman Reigns. Of course, there were two Rumble matches last night and SmackDown’s Bianca Belair is also being teased for tonight’s show.

Sadly, WWE hasn’t announced anything ahead of tonight’s RAW, so we can only guess as to what might take place. Riddle is still embroiled in a feud with Bobby Lashley, our new Women’s Tag Team Champions should be on the show, and Charlotte needs to sort out her issues with Lacey Evans. Not to mention the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will need a new program heading into the Elimination Chamber PPV.

That’s the preview ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW. It could be a fun show that should start to set-up some possible WrestleMania storylines. We want to know what you guys and gals are thinking and what you’re hoping to see, so join in the conversation in the comments below. Enjoy the show!

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with the WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, making his way to the ring.

Drew welcomes us to the show and says tonight marks the start of WrestleMania season and so this is no ordinary RAW. McIntyre says the Royal Rumble was awesome, from him and Goldberg beating each other senseless to Bianca Belair solidifying herself as the future. And then there was the men’s Royal Rumble match. He had his eye on that one in particular.

Before the Champion can say anything else, Edge makes his way down to the ring. McIntyre says from the day he came to America, Edge was there for him as a mentor and a friend. He was there when Edge retired and it was an awful day. And then last year he remembers being in the corner during the Rumble, being choked by AJ Styles, when he heard Edge’s music and it was surreal. Then Edge got injured again and he thought that was it. But it wasn’t it and Edge is back again and won the Rumble. So congratulations.

Edge thanks him for the compliments but says he has to be blunt because he likes him… “what is wrong with you?” Edge says he won the Rumble and he is the biggest threat to Drew, so why is he complimenting him instead of kicking his head off. Drew says that’s something an opportunist would do but that’s not him. Edge says he’s damn right he’s not him.

Sheamus comes out and says Edge should be happy to get all that praise. But he’s not happy because Edge is criticizing a man that carried WWE through uncharted times while he sat at home nursing a tricep. Sheamus asks Edge who he thinks he is and says he doesn’t want to take the high road like Drew. McIntyre tells him it’s OK, he’s got it, then tells Edge to make a decision.

Edge says he’s been in the game a long time, he is an ultimate opportunist, and he’ll make the decision when he’s ready. Edge says McIntyre has a big target on his back and he’s playing a dangerous game. He’ll know when he’s chosen, but whoever he chooses he’s leaving WrestleMania as Champion. After Edge leaves, Shamues hits Drew with a Brogue Kick!

Sheamus is walking backstage and Charly Caruso stops him for an interview. She says they’ve been friends for years but Sheamus cuts her off and says that’s just it, all he is these days is Drew McIntyre’s friend. Well they’re friends no longer and he’s coming for the WWE Championship.

Randy Orton is backstage and he addresses Edge, saying he didn’t think it was possible Edge would ever be back. But not only did he come back but he entered number one and won the whole damn thing. So congrats. But the problem is he looks like a liar for telling the world Edge was gone for good. He did everything he could to Edge out of love, he beat him to near death and even attacked his wife in the hope he would go home and stay home. Well he’s not going to main event WrestleMania because Edge has overlooked him. Tonight there will be no mercy or compassion for Edge.

Kofi and Xavier Woods are backstage and Kofi is hyping him up for a match. Kofi says Mustafa Ali is out of his mind and tonight Woods can get some payback for last night. But unlike last night he has his back. They make their way to the ring.

Winner: Xavier Woods

Miz talks a little about WrestleMania before saying his guest tonight was the star of the Rumble: Bad Bunny. The rapper comes to the ring and Miz thanks him.

The Miz says he needs to clear the air for any misunderstanding they had last night. We see a replay of Bunny’s performance, then his confrontation with Miz and Morrison. Miz says he has heard that Bunny wants to be a WWE Superstar and he says it’s true, it’s one of his dreams. Miz says he is the man who can take people to the top.

He can help Bunny to the main of WrestleMania and all they want in return is a recording deal. Miz and Morrison then sing and rap. Bunny says they are special but he’s not interested. Miz gets angry and asks if he knows who he’s talking to. They’re in his world and he might not make it out of the ring. The WWE Champion is interviewed by Charly Caruso backstage. She asks how he’s feeling and Drew says it would be an honour to face Edge at WrestleMania. As for Sheamus, families fight all the time. Strangely enough, the main event is revealed to be Edge Vs. Randy Orton!

*Commercial Break*

We see a great video package of Edge’s retirement, return, feud with Orton, injury, and Royal Rumble win.

Edge is backstage and he says he’s torn; he’s ecstatic because he won the Royal Rumble; but there’s the black cloud hanging over him, called Randy Orton. Last night Orton had the chance to go bell-to-bell, just like he did. But instead he pretended he had an injury and tried to sneak back in at the end. Orton is jealous, he says it’s love but that’s crap. He’s not the man that Edge is. Last night Edge went an hour while Randy went eight minutes, so yeah he’s beat up. But he has to put Randy in his rear view and go back to win the Championship that he never lost. Tonight it ends.

Up next, Alexa Bliss faces her former best friend Nikki Cross. Bliss makes her way to the ring as we head to the break.

*Commercial Break*

Edge is walking backstage and Damian Priest approaches him. Edge says he was impressed by him last night and he looks forward to sharing the ring with him someday.

Cross beats Alexa in the corner but suddenly Alexa’s old music plays and she’s dressed like her old self.

Cross is weirded-out but drops her with a clothesline, then attacks her in the corner. The Funhouse music plays and Alexa is back in her new gear, laughing. Cross runs but gets tackled to the mat. Alexa wrangles her and hits Sister Abigail with a DDT twist for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

As Alexa is leaving, Randy Orton comes out and stops beside her on the ramp. He doesn’t look at her as he makes his way to the ring.

Edge Vs. Randy Orton

Edge attempts the Anti-Venom submission but Orton pulls his hair and slams him down. Orton lifts Edge and hits a European uppercut, then kicks the ribs and grinds his heel on them. Orton slows things down and keeps Edge in the corner.

Edge really wants to finish this because he’s hurt, so he takes to the corner and runs for a Spear but gets caught with a snap powerslam. Orton lifts Edge and throws him into the ring post, then out of the ring. Orton whips Edge into the steel steps as we head to the final break of the night.

*Commercial Break*

We return to find Orton beating Edge around the ring with a fury and Edge can’t stay on his feet. Orton kicks Edge in the gut and backs him to the corner but Edge throws a Hail Mary punch and drops Orton. Both men climb to their feet and hit a double clothesline. Edge rolls to the apron and climbs the ropes but Randy climbs up with him and looks for a Superplex but Edge punches him off. Edge hits a flying clothesline and both men are down.

They both get up and Orton attempts an RKO but Edge counters with the Edge-O-Matic and gets a near-fall. Orton rolls to the apron and stands with his back to the ring, so Edge shoulder tackles him and sends him flying into the barricade. Edge rolls out to chase after the Viper and get him inside, but as Edge attempts a pin Randy rolls out the other side. Orton leans on the announce desk and when Edge nears him Randy sticks a thumb in the eye.

Randy hits a back suplex onto the announce desk, then drags Edge off and back into the ring. Orton puts Edge under the bottom rope and catapults him into it throat-first. Orton then drags Edge over the middle rope and hits the draping DDT. Orton is ready, drops to the mat and pumps up for an RKO…but creepy music starts playing and Alexa Bliss is on the top rope with black goo pouring out of her mouth. Orton is obviously distracted and Edge hits a Spear to win!

Winner: Edge
