AEW will soon start a women’s eliminator tournament to determine a new #1 contender for Hikaru Shida’s title. The company has not announced when this tournament will start, but they had a big piece of news during Dynamite.

Riho will battle Serena Deeb in the opening round of the AEW women’s eliminator tournament. We will have to see when that match actually happens.

This is great news for AEW’s women’s division. AEW has been trying for quite some time to arrange Riho’s return. Travel restrictions have kept Riho out of the United States until recently.
