WWE booked their Superstar Spectacle to air on January 26th, Republic Day in India. That show will tape on Friday prior to SmackDown. The company has high hopes that their WWE Champion will be ready by then.

Drew McIntyre is booked for the Superstar Spectacle. The hope right now is that McIntyre won’t be only appearing in a virtual capacity. PW Insider noted that WWE has expectations that McIntyre will be cleared to take part in the show.

The hope within WWE is that Drew McIntyre will be cleared to take part in Friday’s Superstar Spectacle taping for the 1/26 broadcast in India.

The Scottish Warrior tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10th. McIntyre also noted that he has not experienced any symptoms. He doesn’t know how he contracted the virus.

Drew McIntyre has already been announced for WWE RAW next week. He will have face-to-face segment with Goldberg. If McIntyre can get medically cleared for Friday, then he will be able to appear for the new Indian showcase that WWE is planning. We will have to wait and see.
