AEW and Impact Wrestling’s partnership continued this week on AXS TV, and Private Party made their Impact Wrestling debut alongside Matt Hardy.

Private Party was inserted into a #1 contenders match with James Storm and Chris Sabin. This main event match for Impact Wrestling saw Tony Khan and Jerry Lynn come in to take a seat at ringside as the match’s only two audience members.

It was not revealed when this Impact Wrestling Tag Team Title match will happen, but Private Party pulled down the big win. Jerry Lynn assisted them, so it didn’t happen without controversy. The match between the Good Brothers vs Private Party for the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Titles is on.

We will have to see if any Impact Wrestling talent arrive in AEW this week. The door seems to be open between those two companies.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
