WWE Confirms Top Main Roster Talent For India Superstar Spectacle

WWE is holding a Superstar Spectacle on January 26th, Republic Day in India, and they will bring a ton of main roster names in for the event.

The company confirmed that RAW, SmackDown, and NXT will be represented alongside Indian performers for the special. It will air on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony MAX.

The event will air from the WWE ThunderDome, so they are not shooting the event live in India. They are also bringing in many top names for the special including: Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, Bayley, The New Day, Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, and Ricochet. Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will also be a part of the special.

WWE boasts themselves as the most-watched sports properties in India. According to the press release sent from WWE, India ranks #1 for WWE YouTube consumption and #1 in WWE Facebook followers. 

It doesn’t appear that this will be an on-going series, but rather a special event for the fanbase in India. There were rumors of a full-fledged NXT India, but it appears they are going this direction instead for now.
