Roman Reigns’ next challenger for the WWE Universal Title was decided this week on SmackDown. WWE Official Adam Pearce, who is also a former 5-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, won the gauntlet match in controversial fashion. They’re already prepared for the next step in that storyline.

SmackDown is on Fox, and they used that channel to plug next week’s blue brand show during the NFL Playoff games. It was revealed during those commercial breaks that Reigns and Pearce will have a face-to-face next week on Friday Night SmackDown.

Adam Pearce and Roman Reigns have a lot of tension between them. We will have to see what happens next week as they continue this angle.
