Marty Scurll was called out as part of the #SpeakingOut movement. He was removed from ROH’s booking committee and television. This last week it was revealed that the two sides mutually decided to part ways.

According to Fightful Select, there isn’t a lot of surprise within ROH that the company and Scurll split. They also weren’t surprised that the decision took this long.

It was reported that Marty Scurll’s ROH contract had “certain protections” because it was “a huge deal.” It was also reported that it is believed ROH and Marty Scurll split up in September when he was removed from the company’s roster page.

Among those we spoke to, they felt it was pretty sure back in September when Scurll was removed from the roster page that he wouldn’t be back.

There were reportedly “plenty” of people in the locker room who thought that ROH would give Marty Scurll a second chance. Obviously that didn’t happen. It was also noted that “plenty” of people “just wanted to see him leave.”

Marty Scurll is still in Orlando. As we previously reported he might be eventually forced to leave the United States.
