WWE NXT is holding another Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but the matches won’t be limited to the black and gold brand. 205 Live is technically under the NXT umbrella, and they are taking full advantage of that.
William Regal revealed during 205 Live that Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic matches will also take place during the company’s Cruiserweight showcase.
“Starting next week 205 Live will be joining with NXT to hold the first rounds of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The winners will not only win the coveted Dusty Cup, but they will also receive an NXT Tag Team Championship match.”
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is a yearly tournament featuring some of the best tag team action in WWE. Now fans will be able to catch some of that action on 205 Live as well.
