Real Reason for Dakota Kai’s WWE NXT Absence

Dakota Kai is one of the top female Superstars in NXT. However, it seems she has not been seen on NXT television in a while.

The last time fans got to see Kai was during the Women’s NXT WarGames match on December 6th. Team Candice, which comprised of Candice LeRae, Kai, Raquel González, and Toni Storm defeated Team Shotzi, which had Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai.

WWE uploaded a video last week called ‘Casualties Of War Games,” and it featured Dakota Kai, mentioning that she will not be seen for some time after the match. Due to this fans began to think Kai suffered an injury and was on the shelf.

However, it seems that is not the case whatsoever. According to a report by Fightful Select, the reason for Kai’s absence is due to problems with her work visa.

“She’s not injured, and instead WWE is working to clear up her visa.”

It was said that she is expected to make her return to NXT very soon. We will have to see what WWE has planned for her once she is back.
