Impact Wrestling could be losing a few stars very soon. Even if someone doesn’t plan on leaving imminently, it’s still a good idea to prepare for the future.

Taya Valkyrie has filed a copyright on her ring name according to Heel By Nature. This filing took place on December 10th.

She registered the trademark with the typical wording that pro wrestling trademarks include. “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network,” was noted in the filing.

Valkyrie also included an old photo of herself to prove she has been using that name since 2010. Her contract with Impact Wrestling is ending very soon, and she could be a free agent when 2021 rolls around if a new deal isn’t signed.

Taya Valkyrie is married to WWE Superstar John Morrison. It is unknown if she has interest from WWE, but the pro wrestling world could have many opportunities for such a talented veteran performer.
