Why Rey Mysterio & Dominik Were Not On WWE SmackDown Last Week

WWE Friday Night SmackDown continued the build toward TLC last week, but a few big names were missing. Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio were both absent. There is a simple reason why they were not there. They weren’t booked.

Ringside News has learned that Rey and Dominik Mysterio were not booked to be on SmackDown this week. Of course, Aalyah Mysterio wasn’t around either because she travels with them.

We were told that it wasn’t an issue of getting time off for the Holidays or “hanging around backstage.” It was simply a matter of WWE not booking them to be there last week.

King Corbin and his Knights of the Lone Wolf had a short backstage bit where they revealed the new faction’s name. Rey and Dominik are also not booked to WWE TLC.

The story is not over for Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at all. They just weren’t needed on the show last week, so they didn’t make the trip.
