Impact Wrestling is going through some changes, and one switch could influence the dynamite of the entire show.
Madison Rayne and Josh Mathews are married in real life, and they have also acted as Impact Wrestling’s commentary team for a while. Don Callis has been a color commentator in the past, but he is currently busy with Kenny Omega’s storyline.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Madison Rayne is looking to step away from commentary. It’s unclear if she will get back in the ring as an active competitor, but they will apparently have to replace her.
The company is “looking for somebody new for the color spot” right now. We’ll have to see who Impact Wrestling goes with, but Madison Rayne’s days on the commentary table are likely over.
