WWE’s creative process is very behind, and that has been well documented here at Ringside News. The idea of The Rock coming back for WresteMania 37 is not happening, but the company needs someone to face Roman Reigns.

There are a lot of ideas out there, but WWE is not even close to making any kind of solid decision about WrestleMania booking just yet. They do have some names they are considering.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Big E has never been discussed as a possible WrestleMania opponent for Reigns. They are discussing some names, but not coming close to nailing anything down for WrestleMania yet.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that “on the creative side they’ve been told [The Rock] a no go. The two most likely names are McIntyre and Bryan right now.”

Roman Reigns vs Goldberg is also not a match that WWE is considering. It was reported yesterday that the match was pitched, and the rumors went rampant. Ringside News exclusively reported that the match has never been officially pitched backstage.
