WWE started testing everyone prior to their television tapings after they experienced a COVID-19 outbreak that stretched throughout three rosters. They had a system in place when everything was centered around Orlando, but that will have to change.

The company moved their filming location from Orlando’s Amway Center to St Pete’s Tropicana Field. That change of venue has forced the company to switch up their testing procedure.

Ringside News has learned that COVID-19 testing has now been “localized to St Pete.”

Previously, Superstars would take their COVID-19 test in Orlando, and go back to their hotel (or home if they lived close enough) and stay quarantined until their test and the show. That procedure will change thanks to the hour 1/2 drive between Orlando and St. Pete.

The talent and staff will now have to work out a new routine as they abide by the company’s COVID-19 testing protocol, which will continue with their move to a new venue. The location of that testing will change, but all talent and staff will still need to be COVID-19 negative before they can participate.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
