Davey Boy Smith Jr, son of WWE Hall of Famer The British Bulldog, was with Major League Wrestling. That time has now ended for the multi-generational pro wrestling star.

Court Bauer took part in a media call where he confirmed that Davey Boy Smith Jr will be wrapping up his time in MLW following the Opera Cup. He wished Smith the best in “whatever comes next,” but his time in MLW is over.

“Davey Boy’s exit in the opening round of the Opera Cup marks the end of this chapter for DBS in MLW. I have immense gratitude for (Davey) and his contributions inside the MLW ring over the past 2 ½ years. The MLW system was a great fit for him. Winning the 2019 Opera Cup as well as his run as a World Tag Team Champions. A real certified beast. Davey Boy Smith Jr. is the real deal and I wish him luck with whatever comes next.”

WWE could welcome Davey Boy Smith Jr back. He has hinted at that possibility in recent memory. This could be an exciting time for fans, but it’s unclear how WWE would use him just yet.

The pro wrestling landscape is a very interesting place right now. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to discover that Davey Boy Smith Jr has a couple offers on the table.
