Matt Riddle, or just Riddle if you’re just meeting him, is a polarizing character. Some people love his laid back Original Bro attitude, but others are not his bro. Goldberg is not Riddle’s bro.

During RAW this week, Matt Riddle and MVP had a backstage segment. Riddle called MVP his “bro” during that exchange, and MVP quickly replied with “I’m not your bro.”

Riddle and Goldberg had a backstage meeting at the Royal Rumble that didn’t go well. Riddle called Goldberg “bro” during that exchange, and Goldberg had the same reaction that MVP did.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this was very possibly a reference to Riddle and Goldberg’s Royal Rumble run-in.

MVP told him, “I’m not your bro.” I think this was taken from Riddle’s confrontation with Goldberg in real life when Riddle actually called Goldberg “bro” and Goldberg said, “I’m not your bro.”

It seems that WWE is setting up something with Riddle and the Hurt Business. It will be interesting to see if this program could see Riddle getting a shot against Bobby Lashley’s United States title when everything is said and done.
