Why Aleister Black Disappeared From WWE Television

Aleister Black entered the WWE main roster with a lot of momentum behind him as fans couldn’t wait to see what he would do. This did not last for him as he is now absent from WWE television.

Aleister Black is married to Zelina Vega, who was just released by WWE for not obeying their third party edict. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Vega’s firing has nothing to do with why Aleister Black isn’t on television.

Black’s interest about returning to NXT also has nothing to do with why WWE is ignoring him in the storyline. At this time, it’s unclear what’s going on with Aleister Black’s push. Vince McMahon is obviously not calling his name to be used.

There was a time, as Ringside News exclusively reported, that Paul Heyman had Aleister Black penciled in as a possible opponent for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Those plans obviously went a different direction.
