Why Zelina Vega Couldn’t Speak To Vince McMahon After Her Release

Zelina Vega was released from WWE on Friday the 13th, and then she was denied a request to speak with Vince McMahon. It was previously reported that she was then escorted out of the building.

According to Fightful Select, they aren’t surprised that Vega couldn’t speak to McMahon. They were told by multiple wrestlers that it’s hard enough getting a word with Vince McMahon even as a current Superstar.

One SmackDown Superstar noted that they waited weeks to even speak with McMahon after their call-up. McMahon is incredibly busy and the stories about people waiting to speak with him are true.

They did not mention that she was “escorted out,” but it was reported that she “had asked to speak to Vince McMahon to tell him goodbye, and the offer to do so was declined.”

It was also noted that “several wrestlers shared personal words of encouragement to Zelina following the move.”

Ringside News was also told that the “line outside of Vince McMahon’s office” got even harder to keep due to social distancing. That line really doesn’t exist in a physical form anymore. McMahon generally keeps to himself in his office and is rarely seen anymore, now more than ever.
